TMJ
disorder describes a variety of conditions affecting the
temporomandibular joint (the joint just in front of your ear where your
mandible connects to your cranium) and the nerves and muscles associated
with your head and neck. Dr. Faber uses sophisticated computerized
equipment to assess your TMJ symptoms and to guide in resolving TMJ
disorders.
In most cases, the symptoms related to TMJ disorders can be
successfully treated to reduce or eliminate your discomfort. Postponement
of treatment usually results in more damage to the joint, muscles, or
teeth. Be sure to discuss any questions you may have about TMJ symptoms
and treatment plans with Dr. Faber.
